They’re back.

Following a fallow three-year stretch, Drake Maye and the New England Patriots are making a triumphant return to the postseason.

On Sunday, Jan. 11, Pats fans will see if the No. 2 seeded, 14-3 team has the goods when they do battle with Justin Herbert’s 11-6 Los Angeles Chargers at Foxborough, MA’s Gillette Stadium in a do-or-die Wild Card showdown.

If you’d like to be there to see if Maye and co. can revive the franchise’s winning ways of the Brady-Belichick era, tickets are available on primary and secondary markets like Ticketmaster, StubHub, Vivid Seats and GameTime.

After quite a bit of browsing, we found the cheapest seats available on any platform was $191 including fees on Vivid Seats at the time of publication.

100-level seats start at $320.11 including fees on Ticketmaster.

Ahead of this wild card matchup, head coach Mike Vrabel’s Pats finished the 2025 campaign with their third straight win. This one, over the Miami Dolphins, was a commanding 38-10 blowout. Maye threw for a single touchdown while completing 14 of 18 passes; both TreVeyon Henderson and Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for a pair of end zone scores.

While New England finished on a high note, Los Angeles closed their year with a pair of losses against fellow playoff clubs, the Texans and No. 1-seeded Broncos.

Now, they seek their first postseason win since 2018…which was promptly followed by a loss to the Patriots at Gillette.

“That game is going to show us who we are, what kind of football team we are,” Chargers cornerback Tarheeb Still said.

We can’t wait to see exactly what kind of team LA is this weekend.

About the Patriots vs. Chargers matchup

Los Angeles and New England haven’t met on the gridiron since December 2024.

In that matchup, Herbert and the Chargers lit up the Pats and won 40-7 at Gillette Stadium. However, things have changed quite a bit since then.

After their dismal 4-13 campaign in ’24, the Patriots replaced head coach Jerod Mayo with Mike Vrabel. Although they stumbled out of the gate with a 1-2 start, the club quickly found their footing and finished the year 14-3.

Still, as dominant as they’ve been, Los Angeles has had their eye on meeting the team in the Wild Card round.

“I think the Chargers [didn’t play] their guys [in week 18 because] I think they wanted to go to New England and play against this Patriots,” former Patriots safety Devin McCourty said. “The Patriots don’t have a great pass rush, the Chargers are a little weak up front, I think they like that matchup.”
