It’s not easy being a strong woman on “Survivor.”

Savannah Louie has been labeled a “mean girl” by some of the other contestants and the fans for her aggressive gameplay on “Survivor 49” — but fellow castaway Alex Moore is coming to her defense.

“Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I’ll say, I personally do like Savannah. We had a good relationship,” Moore, who was voted off on this week’s episode, exclusively told The Post on Thursday.

The 27-year-old political communications director described Louie, 32, as “tough,” which he chalks up to her job as an anchor and journalist.

“It’s the reporter in her. She asks the hard questions,” said Moore. “She just speaks truth to power. She just says it. And I think some people are not used to that.”

“I think sometimes she might cross a line, of course,” Moore continued, “but I think that some people out there just felt that they’ve had experiences with bullies and they felt it might have been triggering for them just in the way some of the things she would do.”

However, Moore reiterated that he was never offended by Louie’s behavior on the island.

“There’s one point where I was talking about killing the chicken and she got really frustrated with me at the mat, and that was hilarious watching back,” he explained. “It kind of looks like, ‘Oh, why is she freaking out about this?’ But it was so funny. And so that’s just the way she is.”

Moore also called out the other contestants for voting him off instead of taking a shot at Louie and Rizo Velovic’s alliance.

“For some reason, people wanted to be in with Rizo and Savannah,” he said. “I personally saw them as competitors. I saw them as people clearly being strategic. But everyone thought like, ‘Oh, maybe they’ll like me too.’ And it’s like, ‘No, they are using you as a number.’”

“And I don’t understand why we didn’t just do a split vote where people could’ve still got me out if Rizo played his idol. That’s fine,” Moore continued. “But to not even get rid of the idol. I know there was conversation about the devil you know versus the devil you don’t, but this is a game where you need to be able to take a shot at someone. I don’t know. I don’t get it still.”

In addition, Moore gave context into why his original alliance with Sophi “Soph” Balerdi fell apart after they made it to the merge.

“I think it was the Nate vote, and I think it was because she was so in with Savannah and Rizo. There was no way I could infiltrate that,” Moore shared. “She wanted to bring me into that. But I didn’t just want to be a lapdog.”

“Survivor” airs Wednesdays on CBS and streams on Paramount+.
