Former tennis player Eugenie Bouchard took her talents to broadcasting less than a year after she retired from the game in July.

The former world No. 5 joined the Tennis Channel as a pundit during the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells, taking place through March 1-15.

“Risky of them to give me a mic,” the Canadian captioned an Instagram carousel post, sharing photos of her on-air moments.

One image shows Bouchard interviewing Eva Lys, a 24-year-old Ukrainian-born German tennis player.

Another Instagram clip shows her arriving at Indian Wells with the caption, “Showing up to my first tournament after announcing my retirement.”

This isn’t Bouchard’s first time in the analyst seat.

She joined the Tennis Channel as a studio analyst and commentator in August 2021 during her recovery from shoulder surgery.

Bouchard, who turned 32 on Feb. 25, had a martini-themed bash in the West Village in New York, as seen in an Instagram post shared earlier this month.

Bouchard retired after falling to No. 17 seed Belinda Bencic, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4, in the final singles match in the National Bank Open in Montreal last July.

She confirmed earlier that month that she planned to play her final tournament in her hometown.

Bouchard juggled fame and social media stardom when she reached the Wimbledon final at age 20 in 2014, where she became the first Canadian to reach a Grand Slam singles final — and achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 5.
