If New England fans had a vote, their MVP choice would be easy.

Patriots quarterback Drake Maye was serenaded with chants of “M-V-P” as he ran off the field at Gillette Stadium after defeating the Jets 27-14 on Thursday night.

The 23-year-old signal-caller threw for 281 yards and a touchdown in the win, adding to the mountain of evidence for his case to be the league’s MVP.

His passing yard total on Thursday night marked the third-most in his young NFL career.

The fans in Foxborough made sure Maye knew how much they appreciated the effort, chanting “MVP” loudly when he spoke with Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football” postgame show.

“Coach [Mike Vrabel] and I think the guys around me are the biggest thing,” Maye said about what’s led to his success in 2025.

Maye also insisted that “I still have more work to do.”
