A woman who reported a domestic incident involving Ryan Crow alleged she saw the Miami Dolphins coach “choking” a woman outside of an apartment complex in Fort Lauderdale before his domestic violence arrest early Friday morning, according to 911 audio obtained by TMZ Sports.

Crow, an outside linebackers coach, was arrested and charged with one count of touch or strike/battery/domestic violence as stated in a police incident report. On Tuesday, he pleaded not guilty.

“A guy started choking his girl outside,” the caller, who was not identified, told the 911 operator. “And then they went back inside upstairs to the floor and we heard him slam her.”

The caller said there no weapons involved, adding that the incident was “just physical.”

“He started choking her around 11:45 [PM], and then they went back upstairs and we can hear them fighting,” the caller said.

The caller identified the suspect as white with a beard and around 6-foot-1, and said the victim was white, blonde and skinny.

The incident report, obtained by TMZ Sports, states that “multiple witnesses observed” the incident, with one claiming they saw Crow “with his arms around the victim as if he was going to perform a takedown.”

The woman “claimed no injuries” and “denied to do a sworn statement,” according to the incident report.

It states that police arrived to the apartment complex at around 12:15 AM on Aug. 29 and discovered Crow and a woman had been in “a verbal argument about past relationships, which “escalated to a physical altercation when [Crow] intentionally shoved [the woman] out of anger.”

The Dolphins placed Crow on administrative leave, and senior defensive assistant Sean Ryan will fill his role in the interim.

Miami head coach Mike McDaniel addressed the incident in a Monday press conference, saying “we take [the allegations] extremely serious.”

“We are aware of the serious matter involving Ryan Crow and currently gathering more information. Ryan has been placed on administrative leave effective immediately,” the team said in a statement last week. “We have been in communication with the NFL and will reserve further comment at this time.”

Crow is entering his second season with Miami after spending six seasons with the Titans.
