Before the Columbia women’s basketball team takes the court for its home opener Saturday against preseason top-25 team Richmond, the Lions plan to unveil their new Ivy League Championship and NCAA Tournament banners.

It will be a final ode to Columbia’s historic 2024-25 season.

“It’s an exciting little moment, but that’s in the past,” star guard Riley Weiss told The Post this week. “We’re pretty focused on the present.”

The Lions have made incremental progress in each of the past five seasons. The reigning three-time Ivy League champions are coming off back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and captured their first March Madness win, rallying past Washington in the First Four.
