Handicapping motivation is a tricky endeavor, but it is hard to see how Missouri is at its sharpest against a pesky Mississippi State team on Saturday in Columbia.
The Tigers were eliminated from College Football Playoff contention in a blowout loss against Texas A&M last week, and now will have to stay focused while head coach Eli Drinkwitz is connected to head coaching vacancies around the country.
The Bulldogs are just one win shy of bowl eligibility, which would be a massive step in the right direction for a team that was pegged to foot the table in the SEC this season.
