Clay Holmes threw three innings of live batting practice Tuesday as part of his accelerated buildup for next month’s World Baseball Classic.
The right-hander will pitch for Team USA.
Freddy’s work
Freddy Peralta threw two innings in the same live batting practice session as Holmes.
Caught my eye
Francisco Lindor stood next to Marcus Semien during a fielding drill and received flips to his right hand.
Lindor underwent hamate bone surgery on his left hand last week and is dealing with a recovery that has left him questionable for Opening Day.
Wednesday’s schedule
Full-squad workouts continue at Clover Park ahead of Saturday’s Grapefruit League opener against the Marlins.
