The Chiefs are making up for one young fan’s lousy experience after he became the latest kiddo to have a souvenir snatched from them at a sporting event by an overeager adult.

Joey Masters went viral after he had a headband Patrick Mahomes was trying to give to him snatched away from him by Nina Miller after Kansas City’s win over the Giants at MetLife Stadium on Sept. 21.

The Chiefs have done their part to make the situation right by sending Masters a treasure trove of merchandise and signed memorabilia, according to a TikTok video posted recently.

The video was posted by an account purportedly operated by someone who is “in direct contact with Joey’s family.”

In the video, Masters is seen opening a Chiefs-branded box and is delighted to find a signed Mahomes jersey inside, among other goodies.

The box also included a headband signed by Mahomes, as well as a hat, flag, foam finger and water bottle.

The gifts would appear to fulfil the word of Tavia Hunt, the wife of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, who caught wind of what happened and asked social media to help find the young fan and his family.

She wrote on a follow-up Instagram Story that she had found the family and that she had “surprises ensuing.”

Miller has since apologized, though not before she first attempted to defend her actions and then did an about-face.

In an appearance on “Inside Edition,” Miller apologized to Masters and offered to send the headband to him.

“I’m sorry, honey. I really am. I swear,” Miller told Masters.

“I believe you,” Masters told Miller.

And when Miller offered to send the souvenir back, Masters joyfully responded: “Thank you for sending it back. That’d be amazing.”

However, the account reported in the comments section that Miller never returned the headband to Masters.

“We’re incredibly grateful to the team for making this right,” the account wrote.
