Jameson Stocks, the celebrity chef who recently criticized Meghan Markle’s new Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan,” told The Post in an exclusive interview that his remarks have led to death threats against him.

“I started getting death threats and all sorts of nasty messages,” Stocks, 41, revealed. “And I’m thinking to myself, ‘Christ. I’ve not gone in on somebody personally here because that’s something I do not do and would not do. And it’s something that’s just not [in] my nature, to be honest with you.”

The chef weighed in on the Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle series Saturday on GB News, telling the network that he thought it was “terrible.”

“Everything — the music is quite slow, it’s quite lethargic, it’s quite painful to watch,” he added during the broadcast. “I think she should go back to acting. She’s quite a good actress. In real life or on screen. People should stick to what they do best.”

Reflecting on the “hundreds and hundreds” of hateful messages he’s received, Stocks told The Post, “I’m just a single dad, and then all of a sudden, I’m getting death threats on me. And I’m thinking, ‘What the hell is going on here?’”

The Michelin-starred chef insisted that his comments were “never personal” attacks on Markle, 43.

“I’ve nothing against Meghan Markle,” he explained. “I never personally attacked Meghan. I never once did that. I never would do that.”

Stocks continued, “I have absolutely zero interest in anything to try and bring her down. My only thing was I didn’t like the show and that was it.”

“It wouldn’t matter if it was Gordon Ramsay, Wolfgang Puck or Donald Duck. I just didn’t like the program.”

Of Meghan and her husband Prince Harry, 40, who appears only briefly in the series, Stocks added, “I just wanted them to show who they are, rather than being portrayed in some sort of fake program.”

“I actually wanted it to be good because I don’t really agree with the way she was treated in some parts of the media, and at the end of the day, I just want people to be happy. You only have one life. I don’t want negativity.”

Stocks previously claimed that he was asked last year by Netflix whether he would be interested in consulting on a lifestyle program, which he understood to be Markle’s.

“I was in New York last year, beginning of last year for Fashion Week, and I met with two people from Netflix,” he said.

“It was a very casual conversation,” he acknowledged of the meeting, which he said took place early February 2024. “They never offered me a contract or mentioned anything regarding the Markle project. They never went into any details as such regarding who it was for. Like I said on [GB News].”

“But I was also made aware of – when I met these people – that it was for the Markle show from someone pretty close to the action.”

“My friend who actually had a series on Netflix, who lives in New York, introduced me,” he said, adding that he took the meeting “out of curiosity more than anything.”

Stocks recalled, “They asked my opinion on a lifestyle program, and they told me that it was [for] a high-profile person.”

“The information which they told me — you’d have worked out who it was anyway. Without me even knowing beforehand.”

He also claimed that the individuals he met with “were kind of preparing” him for the star and the show to be “very divisive.”

“I shut it down quite quickly, to be honest, because it just wasn’t for me,” he added, noting that he didn’t want to spend a prolonged period away from his two sons, who live in the UK.

However, a production source told The Post that “With Love, Meghan” was not in development at the time Stocks said he met with execs from Netflix. The insider also denied he was approached about the series, which debuted on March 4.

The show was first reported as being in production in April 2024, per Deadline.

“Chef Jameson Stocks was not invited to participate in ‘With Love, Meghan,’ and any claims to the contrary are incorrect,” they exclusively told The Post.

“Jameson himself doesn’t even know which show it was for — he noted ‘he thinks it was for this show,’” the source continued while cautioning against “taking his assumption as fact.”

The Post has reached out to reps for Netflix and Markle.

Netflix has since renewed “With Love, Meghan” for Season 2. Production on the second season has already wrapped.

Markle and Prince Harry signed a $100 million deal with Netflix in 2020 after stepping down from their roles as senior working members of the royal family earlier that year. In addition to “With Love, Meghan,” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released two other docuseries on Netflix: “Harry & Meghan” in 2022 and Harry’s “Polo” doc in December 2024.
