Jocelyn Wildenstein’s final resting place has been revealed.
The eccentric New York socialite, commonly referred to as the “Catwoman,” will be cremated, and her remains will be sent to Africa following her death on Dec. 31, according to TMZ.
Wildenstein’s fiancé, Lloyd Klein, told the outlet that she will be remembered at a private funeral in Paris before being cremated.
Her ashes will then be brought to her ranch in Kenya.
Wildenstein will be close to her family in the afterlife. Klein shared that her mother’s ashes are at the ranch, and her father was also buried there.
The headline-grabbing former billionaire died in a Parisian palace at the age of 84, her fiancé confirmed.
Klein disclosed that she passed away from a pulmonary embolism.
A pulmonary embolism is a blood clot that blocks and stops blood flow to an artery in a lung, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Wildenstein reportedly loved Kenya, so the decision appeared to be a no-brainer for her fiancé about where she should end up.
Klein revealed he’s still in shock about losing the love of his life suddenly and revealed the final moments before her death.
He told the outlet that they had laid down for a nap in Paris and that she had never woken up.
“She was my love, my friend, and my soul mate for 21 years,” Klein stated.
This is a developing story.
