Candace Cameron Bure doesn’t want to engage in conversation about her body.

The “Full House” star, 49, revealed on Saturday that she deleted a photo of herself wearing a bathing suit that she posted the day before because of online body shamers.

“Yes. I was at the beach. I was in a one piece, not a bikini,” Bure wrote on her Instagram Stories while responding to a fan who asked about the missing picture.

“I am soaking up the end of summer. I was having fun,” she continued alongside an image of her in a butter yellow maxi dress.

Bure went on, “It wasn’t about my bathing suit or my body. But the comments became flooded with people discussing my body.”

“It wasn’t worth it. I took it down,” she concluded.

Bure has been open about body image over the years. In July, the actress got emotional on her podcast while talking about working through self-confidence.

“If someone is listening to this, and they’re saying like, ‘I know this, like God revealed this to me, and I understand…I’ve built the foundation, but I’m still so sad at where my body’s at, or I’m going through menopause and my whole body is changed.”

“So, how do I start to reconcile living in that freedom that I know to be true, but I’m still really unhappy with my body,” she added.

In her 2010 memoir, “Reshaping It All,” Bure revealed that she developed bulimia as a young adult.

“It was binging and purging. I’m a bulimic. And I still say I’m a bulimic,” she shared on her podcast in July.

The former “The View” co-host explained that she still considers herself to have an eating disorder “because the thoughts — whether I’m doing that or not — they never leave me.”

“So I still need the tools to just say, ‘No, Candace, we’re not doing that,’” she stated.

The former child star also recalled that her parents took “preventative” action to keep her healthy by putting her on a diet, but those methods ultimately backfired.

“That very thing just shaped the way I looked at my body, which was like, ‘Oh, it’s not good enough the way it is right now,’” she said on her podcast.

And despite her husband, Valeri Bure, being an “incredible support,” Bure admitted that she still struggles with body image.

“I feel like a broken record. I’m 49 years old and I’m like, why do I think about this so much? Why does it even matter so much? It’s so ridiculous,” she said. “And yet I’m still thinking about it.”
