They don’t call it the “City of Brotherly Love” for nothing.

Eagles chief of security Dom DiSandro popped by to check in on injured Giants rookie Cam Skattebo in the hospital and made sure to make the NFC East rival feel at home.

The colorful Eagles staffer brought Skattebo pizza and cheesesteaks at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center on Monday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane.

The rookie running back successfully underwent surgery to deal with the ankle dislocation he suffered during Sunday’s loss to the Eagles.

Skattebo spoke out for the first time about the injury on Monday evening in a post on X.

“Thank you everyone for the support!! Surgery went well,” he wrote. “I just want to thank the city of Philly for taking the best care of me. Every moment I spent in the hospital with family and friends I felt loved and supported in every way. Thank you to the doctors, surgeons, and staff that did their best work on me.

“This is just the beginning of my journey and I can’t wait to show you guys all about it!!!

“GOD has a plan for me, stick the course and it will all work itself out, BRB.”

Skattebo has been discharged from the hospital, and he is expected to be ready for next season, barring any setbacks with his recovery.

Skattebo has become a breakout star with the Giants this season due to his take-no-prisoners style on the gridiron and the connection he’s developed with rookie quarterback Dart.

“I was devastated,” Dart told reporters on Sunday. “That’s my boy. Seeing him go down and reacting to what happened, it sucks. It’s the worst part of this game.”

Skattebo has rushed for 410 yards and five touchdowns on 101 rushing attempts this season and has also caught two touchdowns.

He was taken by the Giants in the fourth round of the NFL draft.
