Brooklyn Beckham’s ex remembers the good times with his famous family.
“Summer House” star Lexi Wood, who briefly dated Brooklyn, 26, in 2018, appeared on “The Viall Files” podcast Wednesday and recalled her time being around the Beckhams before their current family feud.
“It’s so funny because those are the types of families that I’m used to. Like, families that are in the industry, that give each other advice, work with each other where they can, like that are so close — travel together, live together, they do so much together cause they understand that that mindset is your family has your back, period,” said Wood, who also dated Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s son, Presley Gerber, in 2022.
Wood called the Beckhams “a beautiful family” and Brooklyn’s mom, Victoria, a “style icon.”
Host Nick Viall asked Wood how she felt about dating Brooklyn when his dad, David, is considered “one of the sexiest men alive.”
“I feel like he was just always Brooklyn’s dad. I feel like immediately I didn’t think anything of it. And then he just was his dad,” she replied.
Wood, who said she met both of her famous exes through “mutual friends,” explained that she spent more time with the Gerbers than the Beckhams because she was older when she dated Presley, 25.
“When Brooklyn and I were together, I think I was 20, so it was a little more like, we were hanging out together, so we didn’t really spend too much time with the whole family unit,” she explained.
“We’d hang with Romeo,” Wood added of Brooklyn’s 22-year-old brother.
“But both families have raised such great families and just being so close and having those same morals and values that i have so innately, it was just so nice being around them,” she said.
The Bravo star also described herself as “the type of ex where I’m actually friends with a lot of my exes and I actually want them to move on. I’m like, ‘Go! Good for you!’”
“Especially with Brooklyn, he’s in a great relationship and I’m so happy for him,” she said.
Brooklyn and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz, recently had a falling out with his famous family. TMZ sources claimed the couple are “fed up” with how Brooklyn’s “toxic” and “narcissistic” parents treat them.
Allegedly, the main reason for the family rift is that Brooklyn and Peltz, 30, don’t approve of Romeo’s relationship with his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, whom Brooklyn allegedly dated years ago.
But David, 50, and Victoria, 51, are allegedly on Romeo’s side because they “trust” Turnbull around him.
Amid the ongoing tension, Brooklyn and Peltz did not attend his dad’s 50th birthday party in London last weekend with the rest of the family.
In March, the couple also skipped David’s birthday party at Cipriani Downtown Miami and Victoria’s fashion show in Paris.
None of the Beckhams have spoken publicly about the drama — but a source recently told The Sun that the family fallout is Victoria’s “worst nightmare.”
“The thought of any of her children falling out gives her sleepless nights,” the insider said about the mom of four.
