Bill Murray isn’t just one of the pre-eminent comic actors of the 20th and 21st century.

The “Saturday Night Live” alum and Oscar nominee (!) also moonlights as the frontman for The Blood Brothers, a blues band featuring Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia.

And, after a successful run of shows all through 2025, the 75-year-old funnyman will do it all over again in ’26.

As of now, Murray has eight shows lined up from January through April next year.

That includes a stop at New York City’s Webster Hall on Saturday, Jan. 24.

If you want to see the Chicago native and lifelong Cubs fan live, tickets are available for all upcoming gigs on his run.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on inventory for any one show was $67 including fees on Vivid Seats.

Other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $89 to $265 including fees.

Based on our findings at Set List FM, the ensemble typically performs 12-15 songs per show. At their most recent gig in Northfield, OH, Murray and co. delivered fan-favorite covers like Prince’s “Little Red Corvette,” Jr. Walker & the All Stars’ “Shotgun,” Stephen Stills’ “Love the One You’re With,” The Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun” and Tommy Tutone’s classic “867-5309” along with a handful of more obscure cuts.

“…it was no joke,” Chicago’s Times Daily reported about a January 2025 show the band put on. “It was a blues-rock band plus Murray stepping forward occasionally to croon. It was a reminder that there are few things in life as satisfying as Bill Murray singing, even if the man is no singer. Indeed, that he doesn’t have a singing voice was always beside the point.”

“You laugh, not because that famous warble is all drama and no control. You laugh because it’s so personal. Bill Murray singing is the sound you make alone in your car. It’s the joy of the amateur.”

Sound like the show for you?

Bill Murray upcoming projects

As of now, the workhorse actor has six projects set for release in the near future. To make sure you’re up to speed, here’s what’s up next for Murray, courtesy of IMDb.

“The Ploughmen” tells the story of a strange friendship between a haunted young deputy sheriff and a notorious old murderer that turns both their worlds upside down. Nick Nolte and Amy Madigan co-star.

“Being Mortal” may never be finished; Murray was accused of harassment on set. In any event, the film is comedian Aziz Ansari’s feature directorial debut and based on the book “Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters In The End.” Seth Rogen and Keke Palmer were also in the cast.

“The Springs” is a comedy about a retired detective (Murray) who turns his sleuthing skills to a retirement home after his brother is found dead there.

“Epiphany” pits Murray and Kristen Wiig as the leads in a film where a broke fashionista heiress races against time to marry rich and save herself from financial ruin. Her quest leads her to an unusual billionaire mathematician who might be the answer to her problems. No other actors have been announced yet.

“Diamond” follows Joe Diamond, a man haunted by his past. He uses his exceptional wit and keen observation skills to uncover hidden truths and solve crimes in this contemporary noir tale. Andy Garcia writes and directs; Brendan Fraser, Dustin Hoffman, Danny Huston, Vicky Krieps and Rosemarie DeWitt lead the ensemble. And, yes, Garcia appears onscreen as well.

Bill Murray controversy

Murray, who is known for his fun-loving demeanor and party crashing, allegedly went too far on the set of “Being Mortal” and “kissed and straddled a younger female production staffer on set” according to Puck.

Entertainment Weekly said “the woman, who was ‘horrified’ at the incident, reportedly filed a complaint.

Soon after, Murray called the interaction a “miscommunication” and paid the victim “just north of $100,000” in a settlement, Puck reported.

“I did something I thought was funny, and it wasn’t taken that way,” Murray told CNBC. “The company, the movie studio, wanted to do the right thing, so they wanted to check it all out, investigate it, and so they stopped the production.”

“But as of now, we’re talking and we’re trying to make peace with each other… We’re both professionals. We like each other’s work… and if you can’t really get along and trust each other, there’s no point in going further working together or making a movie as well.”

In the past, Geena Davis and Lucy Liu complained about working with the comic actor on set as well.
