The Nets’ home opener highlights NBA Opening Week.

It takes place this Friday, as the Cavaliers’ two-game road slate in New York continues in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn will look to regroup at Barclays Center following a tough 136-117 opening night loss to Charlotte on Wednesday.

The Cavaliers fell to the Knicks, 119-111, at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday in a potential Eastern Conference finals preview.

What our Post expert thinks about Nets vs. Cavaliers

Both Cavs head coach Kenny Atkinson and starting Center Jarrett Allen spent multiple seasons with Brooklyn from 2016-21.

The Texas product, Allen, has recorded a double-double in two straight outings against his former team.

Cleveland swept the Nets last year, winning all four regular-season contests.

The Nets will attempt to replicate last season’s home opener, when they upset the Bucks, 115-102, to earn head coach Jordi Fernandez’s first career win.
