An awkward moment threw a wrench in Amazon’s coverage of Travis Kelce’s possible last moments at Arrowhead Stadium in a Chiefs uniform.

With retirement rumors swirling, the future Hall of Fame tight end high-fived fans and waved to the Kansas City crowd after the Chiefs’ 20-13 loss to the Broncos in an emotional scene.

As he walked into the Chiefs’ tunnel, a cameramen attempted to follow Kelce during the extended postgame scene.

That’s when a Chiefs employee stepped in.

Rather than catching the emotional moment, Amazon’s cameraman was stopped as Kelce, 36, walked through the hallway.

Play-by-play announcer Al Michaels wasn’t happy, to say the least.

“We can’t let a camera go down the hallway for whatever reason, don’t ask me. I mean, come on,” Michaels said during the scene.

Analyst Kirk Herbstreit joked that the Chiefs employee was “bowed up.”

In the postgame press conference, Kelce opened up about the touching moment.

“You only get a few of those where you just get to stand there and appreciate 60 to 70,000 Chiefs fans screaming for you,” Kelce said. “I always embrace that moment, man. It’s fun. Hopefully I got everybody fired up for it.”

With Patrick Mahomes and backup quarterback Gardner Minshew II both sidelined with knee injuries, Kelce only had five receptions for 36 yards with third-string Chris Oladokun under center.

When asked after the game about retirement, Kelce said, “I’ll let that be a decision I’ll make with my family, friends, the Chiefs organization when the time comes.”

In a pre-recorded segment that aired before Thursday’s game, Kelce said he was still undecided on what his playing future holds.

“I think I’m still searching for those answers,” Kelce said of his retirement decision. “Obviously, the way this one ended with a sour taste in my mouth. I feel motivated but I’ve got to make the right decision for me. I gotta hope that if I do wanna come back that the Chiefs are willing to bring me back.

“It’s a two-way street on that.”
