Rihanna will have the house to herself this summer.

A$AP Rocky just announced he’s striking out on his global ‘Don’t Be Dumb On Tour’ that will send him to arenas all over North America and Europe from May through September.

That includes a festival stop at New York City’s Governor’s Ball on Sunday, July 7 and a solo headlining set at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on Sunday, July 11.

This run of shows — his first official tour since 2019’s ‘Injured Generation Tour’ — comes in support of the 37-year-old Hip-Hop icon’s fourth studio album that shares a name with the trek.

In tandem with the record’s release, A$AP Rocky performed lead singles “Punk Rocky” (alongside special guests Thundercat and Danny Elfman) and a mashup of “Helicopter” and “Don’t Be Dumb” on the Jan. 17 Finn Wolfhard-hosted episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

“Rocky’s fourth album is flawed but sharp, and contains enough moments of ingenuity to argue that he’s still an essential part of the rap ecosystem,” Pitchfork wrote in a review of the 17-track, two-disc record.

“‘Don’t Be Dumb’ is not a blockbuster, and it’s all the better for it.”

In the event you’re debating catching the “F—in’ Problems” rapper (who also appeared in Spike Lee’s “Highest 2 Lowest” and the critically-acclaimed thriller/comedy “If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You” in 2025) at Governor’s Ball, it should be noted that the lineup for June 7-9 also boasts fellow Hip-Hop and rap household names like Baby Keem, Clipse, Freddie Gibbs with The Alchemist along with R&B hitmakers Kali Uchis, Mariah The Scientist and Blood Orange.

A$AP Rocky tickets become available first for select dates through a pre-sale that starts Friday, Jan. 23 at 10 am local time.

Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 10 am local time through Ticketmaster but are available now on trusted secondary market sites like StubHub, Vivid Seats and GameTime.

We only recommend sites with a 100% buyer guarantee, so you know your transaction is safe and your tickets will arrive on time.

A$AP Rocky new music

On Jan. 16, A$AP Rocky released his fourth studio album “Don’t Be Dumb.”

The record finds the adventurous rapper exploring his sensitive side as well as his effortless flow over 17 sonically diverse tracks.

Standouts here include the hypnotic bop “Helicopter,” laid-back ballad “Stay Here 4 Life” (with Brent Faiyaz), twinkling throwback whisper anthem “Robbery” featuring Doechii, low-key title track “Don’t Be Dumb/Trip Baby” and the invigorating, angry “STFU” with Slay Squad.

However, far and away, the blissed-out rocker “Punk Rocky” is the best “Don’t Be Dumb” has to offer. Chill, layered and beautiful, expect to hear this Gorillaz-esque jam on radio for the next few months.

To hear for yourself — including the gorgeously restrained, jazzy “Whiskey” with Gorillaz — you can find “Don’t Be Dumb” here.

PS: Make sure you don’t skip the transcendent “The End” featuring will.i.am and Jessica Pratt. We guarantee you’ll get goosebumps from the haunting tune.

Also, while you’re here, “Fish N Steak (What It Is”) with Tyler, The Creator and Jozzy is worth a spin, too.

A$AP Rocky on “Saturday Night Live”

As noted above, A$AP Rocky performed a trio of tracks on the Jan. 17 episode of “Saturday Night Live” (he also appeared in a Gen Z-coded “Snack Homiez” sketch).

You can find clips of his visually and sonically inventive performances here and here.
