Things got ugly quickly in the outfield stands at Angel Stadium.

During Wednesday’s game between the Angels and the Dodgers, a violent brawl broke out, with punches and kicks being thrown throughout.

The incident, which was caught on camera and went viral on social media, included a fan wearing a Mike Trout Angels jersey getting punched by a man in a black shirt.

After the Angels fan fell back into his seat, a Dodgers supporter ran behind and kicked him directly in the head.

The altercation led to two arrests, according to TMZ Sports.

A spokesperson for the Anaheim Police Department said the fight “appears to have started over the stealing of a hat,” per TMZ Sports.

However, the police did not say exactly who took the cap.

The APD said two people in their mid-20s were arrested for the fight, with one being charged with a misdemeanor assault and the other — who the cops deemed the primary attacker — is facing a felony assault charge.

The identities of the two individuals have not been released.

At the time of the brawl, the victim did not accept transportation to the hospital for his injuries, and it remains unclear if they went to seek medical attention following the game.

As for the game, the Angels ended up sweeping their rival with a 6-5 comeback win, only furthering the Dodgers’ skid to start the second half of the season.

Following the loss, Shohei Ohtani said that the Dodgers are doing everything possible to try and end their cold streak.

“Obviously, it doesn’t feel good to fall into second place and to lose a lot of these games,” Ohtani told reporters. “We’re doing everything in our power, having close meetings, doing everything that we can to try to right the ship. We just have to do a better job.”

With the Dodgers holding a 10-13 record since the All-Star break, the Padres have risen to first place in the NL West, holding a one-game lead over Los Angeles.
