The Dolphins’ roster overhaul is in full effect, and starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa could be next to go.

Miami released a pair of All-Pro franchise pillars Monday in wide receiver Tyreek Hill and defensive end Bradley Chubb.

Those two stunning moves are presumably a call to the end of the Tagovailoa era in Miami, with multiple reports indicating that the Dolphins are working the phone lines to find a trade suitor.

According to the odds posted at Kalshi, a NYC-based prediction market, 70 percent of the money is on Tagovailoa to move on from Miami for the 2026 season.

With Tagovalioa expected to move on, the Falcons (29 percent), Cardinals (14 percent), Rams (13 percent) and Vikings (11 percent) are among the teams he could join to continue his career.

However, Tagovailoa staying with Miami has generated the most money at 30 percent.

Below is a snapshot of which team Tagovailoa could join next season if, in fact, he’s played his last snap as a Dolphin.

Odds via Kalshi, If Tua’s next team is Stays with Miami or Retires from Professional Football before Sep 1, 2026, then the market resolves to “Yes.”

It’s been an up-and-down tenure for Tagovailoa on the Dolphins.

Selected fifth overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, a multitude of expectations were on the left-handed signal caller coming out of Alabama.

He had a breakout season in 2023, throwing for a career-best 4,624 yards and 29 touchdowns, leading Miami to an 11-6 record and a Wild Card berth.

Tagovailoa was named the 2023 NFL Comeback Player of the Year, and Miami was convinced it had its future, signing him to a four-year, $212 million contract in July 2024.

However, Tagovailoa’s next two seasons were overshadowed by numerous concussions and his inability to perform well in cold-weather games.

Betting on the NFL?

He was benched for the last three games of the 2025-26 season in favor of rookie Quinn Ewers, after throwing 15 interceptions and a career-low 37.5 QB rating in fourteen appearances.

Tagovailoa’s future ceiling will likely be as a backup or competing for a starting job in training camp.
