One of the heaviest band on the planets is heading to one of the hottest places in the country.
Starting Thursday, Oct. 1, Metallica will launch their massive 24-concert ‘Life Burns Faster’ residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere.
All shows will be part of the group’s ongoing “no repeat weekend” series where the band vows not to play any of the same songs at their Thursday and Saturday gigs.
Based on our findings at Set List FM, their Thursday nights typically included “Master of Puppets,” “Seek & Destroy,” “Sad But True,” “Nothing Else Matters” and “Creeping Death while Saturday featured “Enter Sandman,” “Ride The Lightning,” “Whiplash,” “Blackened” and, of course, “One” among others.
If you’d like to be there, tickets are still available for the expansive five-month Sin City run.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for any one night was $430 including fees on SeatGeek (that’s for the Feb. 25 concert).

In the event you can’t make it out to the Entertainment Capital of the World, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich and co. will be at Uncasville, CT’s Mohegan Sun Arena for two ‘No Repeat’ shows on Nov. 19 and 21. They’ll be joined by Suicidal Tendencies on night one; Spiritbox opens for the band on night two.

When is Metallica at the Mohegan Sun Arena?
On top of the residency, Metallica is also helping Uncasville, CT’s 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena in November to celebrate the venue’s 25th anniversary.
This will be the first time the Rock Hall of Famers have performed in the Constitution State since July 1998 when they headlined at Hartford’s Meadows Music Theater as part of their ‘Poor Re-Touring Me Tour.’

The thrumming, high-velocity record quickly sets the tone with the non-stop thrill ride title track and then refuses to let up throughout its healthy 77-minute runtime.
