France is still the tournament favorite with eight teams left, and they are one of two remaining teams who haven’t lost a match. Les Bleus’ Round of 16 match against Paraguay was scoreless through 70 minutes when Kylian Mbappé broke the stalemate by converting a penalty into a goal for a 1-0 final score.
Morocco’s last victory was an impressive 3-0 shutout against host country Canada in the Round of 16. The Atlas Lions will be without a key player today, though, as the team’s leading scorer Ismael Saibari was ruled out of today’s match due to injury. Saibari started all five matches so far, and scored in three of them.
