Washington’s Luis Garcia Jr. has largely flown under the radar this season despite stellar production — especially in June.
In his first 81 games, Garcia hit .280 with 16 homers, 59 RBIs, 39 runs, two stolen bases and a .847 OPS. His 16 home runs over his first 281 plate appearances already equal his total over 526 plate appearances in 2025, and is just two shy of his career-best 18 from 2024, when he had more than 528 plate appearances. He finished June with 11 homers, tied with Pete Crow-Armstrong for the second most in the majors.
