Another day of World Cup knockout action gets started with Ivory Coast facing off with Norway.

Norway will be back at full strength for today’s tilt, following a group stage finale against France where many starters including star Erling Haaland were benched. The Vikings fell 4-1 to Les Bleus as France finished atop Group I. With a 2-0-1 record in the group stage, Norway advanced as the second team in this year’s “group of death.”

Finishing second in their own group, Ivory Coast advanced with the same 2-0-1 record. Les Éléphants defeated Ecuador and Curacao, only losing against first-place Germany (who were eliminated yesterday).
