The 2026 World Cup has brought fans from all over the world to America.
Groups have taken over cities from the East Coast to the West Coast, and Seattle is no exception. Ahead of Friday’s highly touted match between the U.S. men’s national team and Australia at Lumen Field, World Cups fans have crowded the Seattle Waterfront at Pier 58.
The large gathering begins with a 12-minute March to the Match, which began at 10 a.m. PT. The capacity for the event is 1,709.
USA fans aren’t the only ones joining in on the festivities as Australia’s supporters have made the trek out to the States to witness their national team in action.
Fans decked out in golden-yellow Australian jerseys got an early start to the fun, crowding breweries and streets of Seattle by 7:30 a.m. Friday.
Attending the match at Lumen Field costs a pretty penny as tickets have understandably skyrocketed because of the implications of the contest. The highest entry price for Friday’s clash is over $10,000, while the lowest ticket price is nearly $1,500, according to Gametime.
Australia enters Friday’s match as the underdog, but the squad’s resilience is expected to make the battle for Group D quite interesting. The U.S. can take first place of the group with a win over Australia as both teams enter the contest with three points following their respective victories in their World Cup openers.

Christian Pulisic out vs Australia
The Americans received bad news Friday morning when it was announced USA star Christian Pulisic wouldn’t be available to play against Australia.
The 27-year-old sustained a calf injury in training last week and aggravated it against Paraguay.
USMNT head coach Mauricio Pochettino met with medical staff Thursday night and Friday morning to decide Pulisic’s availability.
Kickoff for USA versus Australia is at 12 p.m. PT.
