Silicon Valley’s AI millionaires are paying eye-popping rates of up to $6,000 an hour — and $23,000 a day — for escorts who can discuss GPUs, artificial intelligence and the future of humanity before heading to the bedroom.

A small but lucrative class of so-called “nerd-first” escorts is cashing in on the tech industry’s wealth explosion by marketing themselves as intellectually curious companions who can match clients’ obsession with AI, cryptocurrency, longevity and other futurist pursuits.

There are only a handful of escorts operating in the niche, according to Forbes, but some are commanding rates that dwarf those of traditional high-end companions.

Meida Marek, an online pseudonym used by a former finance worker, told Forbes she pivoted into escorting after wondering how AI might eventually affect her own career prospects.

Today, she charges $3,500 an hour and says she is booked months in advance.

“I would call it a ‘nerd-first’ approach,” said Aella, an escort and online personality known for applying data analysis to her work.

The women blend provocative social media content with discussions about AI and other technical subjects. Their clients are often men working directly in the AI sector, including employees at companies benefiting from the industry’s rapid growth.

“Posting about AI works,” said Ada Hopper, another escort operating under a pseudonym.

“You’ll have random Nvidia bros who are like, ‘What? You know what a GPU is? Oh my God, wow.’”

The economics are striking.

While escorts on industry platforms may charge around $1,000 an hour at the high end, several women interviewed for the story reported rates between $3,500 and $6,000 an hour. Hopper said she charges $5,000 an hour, while Aella said she charges $6,000.

“The girls who charge the highest rates are not the hottest girls,” Hopper said. “They’re the girls who are hot and smart.”

The rise of AI wealth has created a growing pool of potential customers. Tech workers who received stock windfalls or startup fortunes are increasingly seeking companionship that feels more personal than dating apps and more authentic than AI chatbots.

Many clients are less interested in sex than extended conversations about the future, technology and life.

“There was some sex in between, but most of the time it was just playful, nice conversation,” Marek told Forbes, recalling one overnight meeting with a client.

Others described relationships that evolved into recurring arrangements involving travel, luxury experiences and extended time together.

Supporters of the trend argue that AI itself is helping drive demand.

“As AI becomes bigger, authentic human connection will become a rarity,” escort Charlie Levine told Forbes.

“In the future, being able to afford human contact, and to afford settings where there is genuine human contact, will be the ultimate luxury.”
