The NBA is looking into a pair of “vulgar” courtside fans who angered Jalen Brunson during Game 1 of the NBA Finals, according to Chris Haynes.

Following the Knicks’ Game 1 win over the Spurs, Brunson could be talking with referee Scott Foster before turning his attention to others behind the scorer’s table.

Now, there is more clarity around the incident, as Haynes has reported that two fans were directing “flopping” remarks towards the Knicks star and using profanity.

The comments had apparently occurred late in the game, but continued when Brunson tried to discuss the situation with Foster.

Brunson was quickly ushered away from the situation by his teammates as the Knicks headed back to the locker room.

The NBA will look into an incident from Game 1 of Knicks-Spurs in which two courtside fans allegedly directed vulgar, profane “flopping” remarks at Jalen Brunson, per @ChrisBHaynes.

It was an eventful night in terms of fan involvement at the Frost Bank Center as a spectator also ran onto the court in the fourth quarter.

Brunson bounced back from two separate injury scares earlier in the game to finish with 30 points.

More to come on this developing story…
