Finally.
After eight days of waiting, the Finals are finally here. The Knicks finally return to the biggest stage for the first time since 1999, with a chance to, finally, win their first championship since 1973.
Including their NBA Cup final win, the Knicks went 2-1 against the Spurs this year. And it very well could have been 3-0 if not for a fourth-quarter collapse on New Year’s Eve.
But both teams are different — and more dangerous — versions of themselves now compared to those previous head-to-head clashes. The Spurs will be by far the best opponent the Knicks have faced this postseason.
