Mookie Betts is already one of baseball’s biggest stars. Now, the Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop is adding two of Disney’s most iconic franchises to his résumé.

In a matter of weeks, Betts will appear in both the Marvel universe and the beloved Toy Story franchise, giving fans a chance to see a different side of the former MVP away from the baseball diamond.

Betts is set to make his Marvel debut in the upcoming season of “Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends,” voicing a character named Dizzy Doubleday. Disney describes Dizzy as a baseball player who enjoys helping young athletes learn the game, a fitting role for one of baseball’s most recognizable faces.

The animated series follows Tony Stark, Riri Williams and Amadeus Cho as they use their Iron suits to protect their city while tackling larger-than-life challenges. Betts will share the spotlight with former softball star and baseball analyst Jessica Mendoza, who voices Dizzy’s sister, Dottie Doubleday.

But Marvel isn’t the only Disney property calling on Betts this summer.

The Dodgers star recently appeared alongside his daughter, Kynlee, in a promotional spot for “Toy Story 5.”

In the commercial, Betts attempts to get Kynlee’s attention while she is distracted by her Lilypad tablet, a central character in the upcoming film. After Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and Slinky team up to help, Kynlee eventually leaves the dugout to join her father on the field.

The ad serves as a preview of “Toy Story 5,” which hits theaters July 19 and centers on the toys battling their biggest challenge yet: modern technology.

For Betts, the Disney double feature comes during another busy baseball season. While he’s battled injuries and inconsistency at times in 2026, he’s now found himself starring in two of the entertainment giant’s biggest franchises simultaneously.

Not bad for a guy who already has World Series rings and an MVP trophy.
