How to watch the French Open 2026 live for free in the US

The second grand slam of the tennis year is here; it’s time for the 2026 French Open.

While the 2025 women’s singles champion, American Coco Gauff, will be back to defend her title, the two-time defending men’s champion will not be at Roland Garros this year. World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz withdrew from the French Open with a wrist injury that is also taking him out of July’s Wimbledon tournament.

2025 runners-up Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner enter as the No. 1 seeds in the women’s and men’s draws, respectively. Sinner is entering on a hot streak, having just won the Italian Open. The Italian is 17-0 on clay courts this year.

The prize pool has been a hot topic heading into the tournament, with many players enacting a media strike in protest over the tournament’s revenue split.

It all gets started tomorrow at 5 a.m. ET with the first matches of Round 1 action. Due to the time difference between the United States and Paris, matches will air live stateside beginning at 5 a.m. ET most days.
