Massapequa Soccer Club is having a ball.

The well-known, highly competitive youth program was invited to join the National Academy League, where some of America’s most talented footballers first hone their skills.

“It’s an opportunity for a developmental pipeline,” the club’s director, Paul Bigilin, told The Post.

“Getting them through developmental stages is crucial to see talented kids play beyond college.”

The South Shore program has been all about giving young Long Islanders excellent exposure.

MSC brought trainers and staff from Wrexham to Burns Park for the Welsh club’s first American youth camp last summer.

Now, the shot with the NAL gives these young athletes an even greater chance to shine while staying with a single program throughout adolescence, Bigilin said.

“As a community-based club, it’s such a great opportunity being in a stricter league,” he added.

“We get to show America what Massapequa is all about.”
