Minnesota quarterback Drake Lindsey was arrested in Arkansas early Friday morning, and police said he was found with fake identification and had consumed alcohol despite being underage.

An officer was first notified by staff at YeeHawg bar in Fayetteville, Arkansas about a potential fraudulent ID shortly after midnight, a preliminary report from the Fayetteville Police Department showed, according to ESPN.

Once police arrived at the scene, staff at the bar directed them to Lindsey, 20, who reportedly admitted to being in possession of the fake ID along with drinking alcohol before arriving at the bar.

Lindsey, a native of Fayetteville, was taken to the nearby Washington County Detention Center, where a copy of the fake ID was found in his wallet.

The QB was released roughly seven hours later after posting a $470 bond, according to detention records viewed by The Post.

Lindsey also signed a form for a minor in possession of alcohol and attempted use of fraudulent or altered identification document, ESPN reported.

“We are aware of the situation and will address it internally,” a Minnesota spokesperson told ESPN.

Lindsey has hearings set for June 1 and June 29 at Fayetteville District Court.

The signal-caller is coming off an impressive freshman campaign for the Golden Gophers, throwing for 2,382 yards along with 18 touchdowns while completing 249-of-386 passes.

He also racked up eight wins, setting a program record for most victories by a freshman QB.

Lindsey has high expectations going into next season and beyond, with Nate Tice, son of ex-Vikings head coach Mike Tice, placing the quarterback No. 24 on his 2027 NFL Draft big board.

“Lindsey is the classic quarterback archetype of the big-armed pocket passer in the vein of Drew Bledsoe,” he wrote.

“Listed at 6-5 and 230 pounds, Lindsey is willing and able to stand and deliver the football in the [constantly] muddy pockets he has to deal with behind Minnesota’s offensive line.”
