Kenyon Sadiq couldn’t believe what he was hearing when Darren Mougey was on the other line to select him No. 16 overall in the NFL Draft Thursday.

The tight end had a monotone voice while fielding a call from the Jets’ general manager, as seen in a video released by the team,

“Kenyon, how you doing? This is Darren Mougey with the New York Jets,” the executive said.

“I’m doing good, how are you?” Sadiq replied, seemingly unsure if this was for real or not.

“Are you doing good? Mougey replied. “We’re going to pick you right here and make you a New York Jet.”

“Ok, I appreciate it,” Sadiq replied.

Mougey reorted: “Yeah, are you excited about that? You can come here and be a weapon for us.”

The general manager then handed the phone to head coach Aaron Glenn while Saqid finally celebrated his first “Welcome to the NFL” moment.

“I’m excited, coach,” Sadiq said. “I was thinking this might be a prank call for a second.”

“You’re going to be a huge weapon for us,” Glenn responded. “No, we’re not pranking you, brother. You’re going to be a Jet. You’ve been a target for us for a while.”

The move by the Jets was semi-surprising considering many expected Gang Green to select a wide receiver at No. 16, which they eventually did when they traded back into the bottom of the first round to select Indiana star Omar Cooper Jr with the 30th pick.

Sadiq celebrated with his family and girlfriend Addison Osta, who wrote on Instagram, “My baby is a Jet!!!!!!!”

The Jets also picked a tight end early last year when they selected Mason Taylor with the No. 42 pick.

Mougey has generally received good grades throughout the industry for his three-pick first-round haul.

The Post’s Ryan Dunleavy gave the Jets an A- grade for their first pick, pass rusher David Bailey from Texas Tech, though Sadiq was their lowest-graded pick (B).

Cooper earned the highest mark, getting an A.

The Jets will select No. 44 overall in the second round Friday, and do not have a third-round pick.
