The Massapequa Park, New York native admitted to killing Amber Lynn Costello, 27; Megan Waterman, 22; Melissa Barthelemy, 24; and Maureen Brainard-Barnes, 25, who were famously known as the “Gilgo Four” — as well as Valerie Mack, 24; Jessica Taylor, 20; and Sandra Costilla, 28, his first victim in 1993; and Karen Vergata, 34, whose 1996 murder had not previously been linked to him.

“He will serve three consecutive life sentences with no chance of parole,” prosecutors said. He will be sentenced on June 17.

Per Prime Video’s official synopsis, “this chilling series unravels one of the most notorious criminal cases of our time, offering a comprehensive look at the investigation as new developments bring long-awaited answers closer into focus.”
