The perks of sitting courtside also come with the responsibility to keep your head on a swivel at all times.

This fan was caught texting when Magic forward Paolo Banchero drove into the lane looking for Desmond Bane in the corner for what should have been an open 3-pointer with Orlando leading 53-52 in the second quarter.

The pass didn’t quite get to the corner enough, as Banchero’s pass hit a female fan with hazel-colored hair who was texting in the front row during the 76ers’ eventual 109-87 win.

Banchero’s pass goes towards this fan’s head as she sits on her phone courtside.

She quickly put her phone down as her two friends, sitting on each side of her, grabbed her head as the ball was thrown rather hard by Banchero.

“She’s tough,” the broadcast said as Tyrese Maxey immediately ran over to see if she was OK.

Mike Prada from The Athletic reported that the fan “tried her best to put on a brave face but was clearly some combination of embarrassed and hurt.”

The ball hits her head as other fans attend to her to make sure she is ok.

The report added that the fans groaned in unison as the pass to the her head was played on the Jumbotron.

However, the fan reportedly did not leave the game as the 76ers pulled off a home victory to advance to the first round of the playoffs, where they will face the Celtics.

Maxey led the way for Philadelphia as they punched their ticket to the Celtics series in the 2 vs. 7 matchup in the Eastern Conference.
