This is the exact opposite of “a disaster of biblical proportions.”

Starting in September, “Ghostbusters In Concert” will float into venues all over North America on a 35-show tour.

That includes not one, not two, not three but four (!) stops in New York and New Jersey for Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis’ seminal 1984 film.

They’re scheduled to take place at:

UB Center for the Arts
Buffalo, NY
Friday, Oct. 16

United Palace Theatre
New York, NY
Saturday, Oct. 17

Mayo Performing Arts Center
Morristown, NJ
Sunday, Oct. 18

Tilles Center Concert Hall
Brookville, NY
Tuesday, Oct. 20

If you’d like to see the movie Roger Ebert called “one of those rare movies where the original, fragile comic vision has survived a multimillion-dollar production,” tickets are available for all screenings accompanied by a live orchestra performing in sync with Ivan Reitman’s beloved feature.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for any one show featuring the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man was $49 including fees on StubHub.

Tickets start at $75 including fees for the NYC evening at the United Palace Theatre.

Composer Peter M. Bernstein — spawn of the film’s legendary composer Elmer Bernstein — will lead the orchestra and reconstruct his father’s iconic score.

“The live orchestra added intensity to the spooky moments, humor to the comedic bits, and grandeur to the action-packed ghostbusting scenes,” Broadway World wrote in a review of a February 2025 screening in Central Arkansas.

“Their musicianship and timing were perfect as they synchronized every note with the film’s dialogue and special effects. Honestly, it was so enjoyable, I spent so much time bouncing back from the movie to the orchestra…to the movie to the orchestra….to the movie to the orchestra. I loved it!”

Need even more “Ghostbusters?”

Bill Murray has a handful of shows remaining on his national tour where he plays live music with his backing band The Blood Brothers.
