South Carolina and UConn will meet Friday night in the Final Four, with a spot in the national championship game on the line.

The matchup features two of the most consistent programs in women’s college basketball and will be a rematch of last year’s championship. As defending national champions, UConn enters undefeated, continuing a dominant season under head coach Geno Auriemma.

South Carolina returns to the Final Four looking to bounce back after falling short in last year’s title game under Dawn Staley.

So far this year, the Huskies have been largely untested, opening with comfortable early-round wins, including a dominant performance over Syracuse, before beating Notre Dame 70–52 in the Elite Eight.
