Is the Hobey Baker Award coming home to Long Island?

Roslyn’s Ethan Wyttenbach was named a finalist for college hockey’s version of the Heisman Trophy after an explosive freshman year at Quinnipiac, where he led the nation in points with 58, six more than Penn State’s Gavin McKenna.

“It’s a great honor, but … I haven’t won anything yet,” Wyttenbach told The Post, adding that he feels “pretty good” about his chances when the winner is announced in April.

The fifth-round Flames pick doesn’t need a trophy to know how impactful his time on the ice has been. He recently caught up with Calgary brass while the team played the Rangers at MSG and got top marks from the organization.

“They’re really happy with how I’m doing,” Wyttenbach said.

His game also received praise from fellow Long Islander and prospective future teammate Matthew Coronato, who is thrilled to see Wyttenbach’s special year come to life.

“He’s always checking in and things like that,” said Wyttenbach, who trains at a rink his dad built with Coronato over the summers.

“It’s nice to have him in my corner.”

Vincent’s Clam Bar is straining from deep, sending good luck cases of its signature jarred sauce down to March Madness with Hofstra and St. John’s to keep both teams hot — or mild, or medium — during their big games.

Robke’s owner Louie Selvaggio, who bought his pal and Hofstra coach Speedy Claxton a good luck jacket he wore on Selection Sunday, also worked up a university-themed cocktail for a Friday watch party at his nearby sister location, Birdie Bar in Northport.
