Good manners clearly go a long way for LeBron James.
The Lakers superstar was spotted stopping in his tracks on Monday night and throwing his John Hancock on a young fan’s sneaker after the boy politely asked for an autograph.
The cool scene unfolded inside the Toyota Center in Houston, just after Los Angeles beat the Rockets, 100-92.
As James was heading toward the showers following the big win, a kid screamed out, “LeBron, can you sign my shoe?”
James waved and didn’t look like he was going to stop, but after the boy said “please?” following his father’s urging, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer called him over.
James then grabbed a pen and put his signature right on the kid’s kicks.
Video of the interaction has since gone viral, with many noting in the comment section how a simple “please” changed everything.

“That please melted his heart👑” one wrote. “he’s a real one. And he’s a dad.”
James will be back at the Toyota Center later Wednesday — the Lakers are playing the Rockets for a second-straight game — and it’s safe to assume there will be perhaps a few more courteous autograph hounds at the arena than usual.
