How much the Giants will pay Jordan Stout per punt

Jordan Stout is getting paid.

The Giants agreed to sign the now-former Ravens punter to a record three-year, $12.3 million deal, noti.group’s Paul Schwartz confirmed on Monday, the first day of the NFL’s legal tampering period of free agency.

But exactly how much is Stout’s First-Team All-Pro leg to Big Blue?

The 27-year-old, a 2022 fourth-round pick of the Ravens, punted for four seasons under new Giants coach John Harbaugh in Baltimore, booting 231 regular-season balls in the span.

That breaks down to just below 58 punts per season — a number in line with the Giants’ thus far largely unchanged offense, 59 punts last season — and at an average of $4.1 million per season for his new deal, Big Blue will be forking over an estimated $70,689.66 for each punt.

Of course, this is pure guesstimation. In an ideal world, the Giants wouldn’t punt at all during the season, rendering Stout a well-paid insurance policy, though the odds of that being the case are slightly more than nil.

Michael Dickson, in the first year of a four-year, $16.2 million deal with the Seahawks, made $77,884.61 for each of his 52 punts last season. Corey Bojorquez, the NFL’s leader in punts (91) and total punt yards (4,165), made an average of $21,978 per for Cleveland.

If — and when — Stout does that on the field, what they’ll be getting isn’t in question.

He averaged a league-leading gross average 50.1 yards over 53 punts in 2025 and ranked No. 1 in net-punting average (44.9), with a career average of 47.5 yards and 100 punts inside the 20-yard line.

Stout also comes with plenty of accolades, accruing Big Ten Punter of the Year honors at Penn State in 2021 and a Pro Bowl nod last season.

He’ll be joined by former Ravens teammate Isaiah Likely, who also follows Harbaugh to the Giants.

Players can officially sign their contracts when free agency opens on March 11 at 4 p.m. ET.
