We’re ready for “Anarchy In The U.K. USA.”

After a brief international run — which includes concerts in Austria, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria and, of course, The U.K. — The Sex Pistols are headed stateside in September and October 2026 with frontman Frank Carter assuming Johnny Rotten’s role.

While out and about in North America, Carter (formerly of Gallows and Pure Love) will perform at theaters, ballrooms, clubs and music halls alongside original Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook and bassist Glen Matlock.

As of now, the Rock Hall of Famers don’t have a New York or New Jersey date in the books. The closest they’ll get to the Tri-state is when they perform at Philadelphia’s Fillmore on Friday, Sept. 25.

Their fall run come in the wake of 2025’s cancelled tour due to Steve Jones’ broken wrist.

“I think [my wrist is in] good enough to do the upcoming tour,” Jones, 70, said. “Now if I can just stop my legs from buckling up, I think I’ll be in good shape.”

At all shows, the punk pioneers will perform their seminal 1977 album “Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols,” which features iconic tracks “God Save The Queen,” “Pretty Vacant,” “Holidays in the Sun,” “Bodies” and, of course, “Anarchy In The U.K.”

According to Set List FM, the quartet also played a few other tracks in August 2025 (before Jones broke his wrist) at live shows overseas like Stooges and Paul Anka covers.

“Carter didn’t mimic Rotten’s snot-nosed sneer. He brought his own brand of venomous energy,” Red Raven wrote about an April ’25 gig in Auckland, NZ. “The pit turned into a violent sea of bodies as the band tore through ‘No Feelings’ and ‘Seventeen’ with the kind of urgency that made you forget the line-up drama.”

“…one thing was clear. The Sex Pistols aren’t just some museum piece rolled out for nostalgia’s sake. They’re still dangerous, still unpredictable, and thanks to Frank Carter, still worth every f—ing penny.”

Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 6 at 10 am local time through Ticketmaster but are available now on trusted secondary market sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats.

We only recommend sites with a 100% buyer guarantee, so you know your transaction is safe and your tickets will arrive on time.

“Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols” track list

While the Sex Pistols are teasing new music — “It’s early days,” Jones said last year. “Let’s see what happens” — it’s guaranteed they’ll be playing their anthemic, anarchic 1977 record on the road this year.

If it’s been a while since you’ve checked in, here are all the songs on the album:

  1. “Holidays in the Sun”
  2. “Liar”
  3. “No Feelings”
  4. “God Save the Queen”
  5. “Problems”
  6. “Seventeen”
  7. “Anarchy in the U.K.”
  8. “Bodies”
  9. “Pretty Vacant”
  10. “New York”
  11. “E.M.I.”

Sex Pistols band members

As noted above, four Sex Pistols (three original members, one new) will be taking the stage at all North American shows in September and October. Here’s a bit about each of them including what they play and the years they’ve been with the band.

Frank Turner (lead vocals) 2024-present

Original lead singer John Lydon — who you might know as Johnny Rotten — will be sitting out this run. He’s squabbled with his former bandmates over rights to use their music in the autobiographical FX miniseries “Pistol.”

“Live in the U.S.A.” album release

To commemorate their cancelled 2025 tour, Sex Pistols released three “Live in the U.S.A.” vinyl albums from their 1978 run in the States. Each record showcased one of the group’s gigs from way back when in Atlanta, Dallas and San Francisco. The San Fran concert is famous for being the show where the band decided to call things off.

“We were thinking of breaking up in San Francisco again,” Jones quipped about their 2025 San Francisco show that never happened last year.
