Two days after popping up on “Saturday Night Live,” USA Hockey stars Hilary Knight, Quinn Hughes and Jack Hughes are bringing their gold medals by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Knight and the Hughes brothers made a surprise appearance during the monologue of Feb. 28’s “Saturday Night Live” episode hosted by Connor Storrie, who plays a fictional hockey player on the hit show “Heated Rivalry.”

USA HOckey on ‘The Tonight Show’: what to know

  • When: March 2, 11:35 p.m. ET
  • Channel: NBC
  • Streaming: DIRECTV (try it free)

Referencing the controversy that followed the men’s team’s gold medal victory, Knight quipped, “It was gonna be just us, but we thought we’d invite the guys, too.”

Tonight will mark the first “Tonight Show” appearance for all three players. The Hughes brothers are first-time Olympians, with Jack scoring the “golden goal” that led to Team USA’s overtime victory over Canada; Knight has competed in the last five Winter Olympics, winning two gold medals and three silver medals.

In addition to the hockey players, tonight’s episode will feature “Scarpetta” star Nicole Kidman; the lead of “Bridgerton” Season 4, Luke Thompson; and chef Mario Carbone.

‘The Tonight Show’ with Jimmy Fallon start time

How to watch USA Hockey players on ‘The Tonight Show’ for free

If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream Knight and the Hughes brothers’ appearance on “The Tonight Show” for free. One option we love is DIRECTV, which comes with five days free and starts at $49.99/month, with plenty of subscription options and genre packs that include NBC.

You can also watch “The Tonight Show” live for free with a Peacock Premium Plus free trial (seven days, then $16.99/month).
