He’s too cool for school.

Brooklyn native Vic St. John is the first college professor to ever be cast on “Love Is Blind” — and he’s getting a crash course in being a reality show star.

The Ohio State University public policy professor now has to stay after class for students who want to pose with him for selfies or just give him a fist bump.

“They’re super excited. They’re doing a good job when we’re in the classroom. But then after class, there’s a comment or two like, ‘Hey, did I see you on TV?’” St. John, 34, told The Post.

“Someone gave me a pound. Another student was like, ‘Can we take a picture? Me and my mom watch you.’”

St. John said it was an adjustment for him to have students learn about his alter ago, since on campus he is more like Clark Kent than Superman.

“I’m an introvert by design. I typically have a firewall in terms of professionalism and my personal life,” he said.

“So I’m like, ‘This firewall’s cut. My students are going to see a different side of me … a vulnerable side … sides of me that some of my closest friends may not have seen yet.’”

St. John, who grew up in Flatbush, earned a PhD in criminal justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and went on to teach there and at Rutgers.

He worked at the New York City Board of Correction as a director of research and analysis before moving to Columbus in 2023.

In early 2025, he began filming this season of “Love Is Blind,” which will air its Season 10 finale on March 4. He was so committed to finding a wife, he took an unpaid leave of absence from work, “meaning no salary, no retirement, no health care.”

On the Netlfix series — where singles date each other through walled-off pods, never seeing each other until after they’re engaged — St. John quickly fell in love with speech-language pathologist Christine Hamilton.

“Even before those doors opened [to reveal what she looked like], it was like, ‘This connection feels right. It feels like it was meant to be,’” said St. John, who bonded with Hamilton, 31, on everything from shared family struggles to their deep Christian faith.

“So it was just like, ‘Yeah, that’s my person, regardless.’”

Fans are heavily invested in their relationship, with one X user even calling it, “the best story in the history of ‘Love is Blind,’” which shocked St. John since his connection with his fiancée was wholesome and drama free.

“I was not expecting that sort of reaction. Because I feel like [we were] … I would use the term ‘boring’ in the sense that I feel like viewership and the public want more chaos,” he said.

“My heart just dropped and I’m like, ‘You’re so beautiful … I just want to embrace you and just hold you,’” St. John said about seeing his fiancée for the first time. COURTESY OF NETFLIX

Also to his surprise, he has become a fan favorite, gaining 20,000 Instagram followers since the season premiered last week — so he’s currently trying to wrap his head around all the love he’s getting from strangers.

“It’s something I’m actually praying on right now in terms of, alright how do you steward this? Why is this happening and what am I supposed to do with it?” he said.

“I’ve gotten some who’ve said, ‘I appreciate how you represent black men in terms of your vulnerability, your openness and how you comported yourself.’

“I’ve gotten comments about faith. They’re like, ‘In a world where we shy away from talking about these things, it can be normalized and it doesn’t mean you’re holier than thou.’”

Fans, including his future mother-in-law, are gushing over his good looks. COURTESY OF NETFLIX

Others gushed over his good looks, calling him “eye candy,” “fine AF” and “gorgeous” — and even his future mother-in-law agrees.

In a scene from the show, filmed right after she met her future son-in-law, Hamilton’s mom told producers, “I thought he was hot. Can I say that?”

“I died laughing … I did not see that coming,” St. John said, laughing. “That was funny.”
