Nebraska men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg swatted the phone of an Iowa fan during a court-storming after his No. 9-ranked Cornhuskers were upset by the rival Hawkeyes, 57-52, on Tuesday, as seen in social media videos.

The incident occurred while Hoiberg — a 10-year NBA veteran with the Pacers, Bulls and Timberwolves — was walking through the handshake line at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.

One video showed the coach, who’s in his seventh season with Nebraska, being held back by a member of his staff.

Someone is heard yelling, “Nice game, buddy,” before the video cuts off.

Another video showed the rival male fan running toward Hoiberg, flashing a phone in the coach’s face before he swiped it away.

Hoiberg continued shaking hands with the opposing team after the run-in with the fan, who has not been identified.

It’s unclear if Hoiberg will face any disciplinary action.

He signed a seven-year deal worth $25 million with the Huskers in 2019.

Hoiberg coached the Bulls for three full seasons (2015-18)

Before that, he coached five seasons at Iowa State, where he led the Cyclones to four NCAA tournaments, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2014.
