MILAN — Longtime friends J.T. Miller and Vincent Trocheck hop over the boards together as Team USA’s top penalty-killing pair at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics.
Just like they take the ice on the top power-play unit for the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League.
For a couple of Pittsburgh kids who first met when they were 10 years old playing for the Pittsburgh Hornets at the Triple-A level, their years and teams have consistently overlapped. Their families are intertwined, with Trocheck housing Miller and his family after the latter was traded from Vancouver to Manhattan last season.
