One mini-tour leading up to an album: ✅

One album release: ✅

One Grammy win: ✅

With all of those huge wins in the rearview mirror, Tame Impala has extended his ‘Deadbeat Tour’ and invited special guests Djo and Dominic Fike along for the ride on select dates.

The new batch of U.S. and Canada concerts will take the “Let It Happen” psych-rocker to arenas all over North America from July through September 2026.

And, while Kevin Parker and co. won’t be performing in New York this time around — they headlined at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center four (!) times last October and November — the group has a handful of nearby gigs that could warrant a road trip. They’re slated to go down at:

Xfinity Mobile Arena
Philadelphia, PA
Wednesday, July 15

TD Garden
Boston, MA
Tuesday, July 28

TD Garden
Boston, MA
Wednesday, July 29

In addition to those shows, Tame Impala will also perform in Baltimore (July 18-19), Montreal (July 22) and Toronto (July 25-26).

On the fall ’25 run, the avant-garde Aussie septet typically performed 22 songs a night, according to Set List FM. Notable tracks to make the cut at their final Brooklyn spot included fan favorites “The Less I Know The Better,” “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards,” “Borderline,” “New Person, Same Old Mistakes” and, yes, “Let It Happen” as well as dance-y tunes from “Deadbeat.”

“…a Tame Impala show is all about connection, and that’s what was felt for the two hours Parker & Co. were gathered together,” Rock Cellar Magazine wrote in a fizzy review of the group’s Nov. 18, 2025 Oakland gig.

“…the electronic-tinged alternative/indie sounds emanating from the stage, accompanied by Parker’s falsetto, work in tandem with the dazzling lights and lasers to take audiences on a journey. It was like a show at the Sphere in Las Vegas without all the pomp and circumstance.”

If you want to see Tame Impala live, tickets for the newly-announced shows become available first through a pre-sale that starts Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 12 pm local time with unique passwords required.

Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 20 at 12 pm local time through Ticketmaster but are available now on trusted secondary market sites like StubHub, Vivid Seats and GameTime.

We only recommend sites with a 100% buyer guarantee, so you know your transaction is safe and your tickets will arrive on time.

Tame Impala new music

On Oct. 17, 2025, Tame Impala dropped their fifth studio album “Deadbeat.”

Although reviews have been unkind — even though they won the Grammy (!) — there’s a lot to like from this 12-track offering that’s more lively dance party than introspective psych rock.

Things get underway with the lo-fi piano “My Old Ways.” The quiet ditty seems like an odd choice to kick off the record until the beat drops a minute in and the song builds to a hypnotic higher plane. The tune is light as air and impossible not to nod along to.

The group maintains that feel-good frequency on the laid-back yet urgent “No Reply” (our only note is that we could have done without the wince-inducing lyric “you’re a cinephile, I watch ‘Family Guy’”), self-assured “Thriller”-esque “Dracula” and funky “Loser,” which is full of introspective lyrics and trippy tropical instrumentals.

Other highlights include the thumping, intimate bop “Not My World” (we’ve dubbed the song “half-ballad, half-banger”), dreamy, synth-y “Piece of Heaven” and strummy crowd-pleaser “Obsolete.”

Make sure to stick around until the bitter end too.

There you’ll find the final track, the jittery, breakbeat “End of Summer,” which is a hypnotic epic that toes the line of indie rock, EDM, pop and full-on stadium anthem. It’s groovy, mean, lean and a heckuva good time.

If you’d like to form your own opinion, you can find “Deadbeat” here.

Parker and co. went all out enlisting opening acts for this run of shows. To make sure you’re familiar with their sounds, here are both artists’ most-streamed tracks on Spotify.
