The women’s hockey tournament at the Winter Olympics continues today with the third of four round robin games for Team USA and Team Switzerland.
Team USA is coming into today’s game with a 2-0 record; in both previous victories, the team scored five goals. Team USA’s goaltending has been solid, too; across both games, goalie Aerin Frankel has allowed just one goal.
In Saturday’s game against Finland, Team USA captain Hilary Knight scored her 14th career Olympic goal and tied the all-time U.S. Olympic record. A goal today would put the five-time Olympian into Team USA’s record books.
