Super Bowl bettors are looking to “walk this way” to a payout with Kenneth Walker III.

As of early this week, Walker’s receiving yardage line of 20.5 yards was the most-bet prop at BetMGM for the Seahawks’ showdown with the Patriots in Santa Clara, Calif. on Sunday, per Yahoo.

Listed at a price of -143, Walker III’s implied probability to hit this mark is 58.9 percent.

Without backfield mate Zach Charbonnet, who suffered an ACL tear in the Seahawks’ 41-6 flogging of the 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round, Walker’s role in the Seahawks’ plight to the Big Game has been critical: The fourth-year running back has seen 19 carries and 3.5 targets for 128 total yards in his return to the playoffs for the first time since 2022.

It wasn’t a career-best campaign for Walker III, though it’s his recent surge on the ground that has gained praise as he’s hit 95-plus scrimmage yards in three of his past five games.

He only caught 1.8 balls per game for 16.5 yards in the regular season and hit this mark in five of 17 games.

However, Walker has reeled in 78 yards on seven catches in two playoff games.

Although the Patriots finished as a top-10 passing defense, they coughed up a modest 30.8 receiving yards to running backs.

But they also fielded a run defense that allowed a league-lowest 3.7 yards per carry, so if they stack the box, Sam Darnold could use his feature back for play-action passing.

The 25-year-old is set to become a free agent this offseason and with uncertainty around Charbonnet’s injury, this game carries added implications about Walker’s future in Seattle and what kind of contract he could warrant in free agency.

Betting on the NFL?

Public betting reports reflect 69 percent of bets and 68 percent of the handle placed on the Seahawks, who opened as 4.5-point favorites.

They are returning to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2015, when they lost to the Patriots, 28-24.
