After careless reflection, you’re right: I’ve become far too negative. From now on, it’s sunshine, lollipops and pom-poms!

For example, I think it’s a great thing that former Rutgers LB Mohamed Toure — he arrived at RU in 2019 — will return to play for Miami, his eighth collegiate season.

Miami lists him as a “graduate student,” which should make Miami proud, except it doesn’t note the graduate program in which he’s enrolled. Masters or doctorate?

Thus we’re left to conclude that this is another loophole exploited by a major college of higher learning that doesn’t give a damn if its athletes can read and/or write.
