The Mets avoided arbitration with handful of pitchers Thursday, agreeing to deals with starters David Peterson and Tylor Megill.

Peterson’s figure comes in at $8.1 million, per noti.group’s Joel Sherman, while Megill gets $2.5 million.

The team also agreed to a $1.3 million number with reliever Reed Garrett, according to reports.

Peterson, an All-Star in 2025, went 9-6 with a 4.21 ERA and 1.37 WHIP, though he struggled down the stretch in the heaviest workload of his career at 30 starts and 168.2 innings.

Megill started 14 games for the Amazin’s last season, pitching to a 3.95 ERA before being shut down in June due to elbow discomfort, which led to Tommy John surgery in September.

He is not expected to pitch again until 2027.

Garrett also saw his 2025 season come to an early end due to an elbow sprain that he dealt with throughout the season.

He underwent Tommy John surgery in October that likely will sideline him for all of 2026.

The 32-year-old became an uncovered gem during 2024, but injuries and inconsistency derailed his latest campaign.

The Mets have had a relatively quiet offseason, bringing in relievers Devin Williams and Luke Weaver from the Yankees and infielder Jorge Polanco, but have seen plenty of star power exit.

Closer Edwin Diaz and slugger Pete Alonso left in free agency, while the team shipped outfielder Brandon Nimmo to Texas in exchange for infielder Marcus Semien. The Mets also traded Jeff McNeil to the A’s.
